What is an Ambassador?

Ambassadors are enthusiastic volunteers who serve as the welcoming face of the Chamber. They greet and support new and existing members, attend ribbon cuttings and grand openings, help at networking events and mixers, and make personal connections that help members feel engaged and get the most out of their membership.

Being an Ambassador is one of the best ways to build your network and raise your business’s visibility in the community. It puts you in the room at events, in front of new members, and in conversation with fellow business owners regularly. It’s a low-commitment, high-reward way to sharpen your people skills, become a recognized community connector, and build genuine relationships that often turn into referrals, partnerships, and friendships.

What is an Ambassador

Our Chamber Ambassadors are a group of energetic business professionals who volunteer their time to serve our Chamber and community by assisting with committees, events, and serving as a liaison between the Chamber staff and membership!

Ambassadors encourage participation, create a feeling of friendliness in which to establish business contacts and aid in recruiting and retention efforts on behalf of the Chamber. Ambassadors represent the Chamber at various functions within the community which demonstrates the Chamber’s role in providing a positive business atmosphere in the greater Lacey area.
