Education Committee

The Lacey Chamber’s Education Committee meets once a month to work on an Annual Career Conference held at South Sound High School. This committee includes NTPS teachers, principals, students, and local business professionals.

Ambassador Committee

Our Chamber Ambassadors are a group of energic business professionals who volunteer their time to serve our Chamber and community by assisting with events and serving as a liaison between the Chamber staff and membership. This committee meets once a month to discuss upcoming events, membership retention, and community happenings.

Annual Events Committee

The Lacey Chamber has four (4) annual events; Business Awards, Golf Tournament, South Sound BBQ Festival, and the Dinner & Auction. Each event requires a task-force committee to assist the Chamber staff with logistics and details. These committees meet throughout the year and are lead by the Chamber’s Event Coordinator.

Kidwiler-Dolan Board

The Kidwiler-Dolan Scholarship Foundation is named in honor of Ray Kidwiler and Eugene Dolan. Both Ray and Eugene were instrumental in the Lacey South Sound Chamber of Commerce. The steering committee of this scholarship foundation works throughout the year to promote the Kidwiler-Dolan Scholarship application to North Thurston Public School students. In May of every year, the steering committee meets to review the scholarship applicants, and in June of every year, the steering committee awards selected students from NTPS. Funds for this foundation are raised by the Lacey Chamber and business community.
